Atlas Model Railroad Company will shake up a number of its executive positions for the New Year.

CEO Tom Haedrich announced Dec. 17 that he will step down as CEO and become the executive chairman of the Atlas board of directors. Taking his place as CEO will be Paul Graf, the company’s current chief operating officer, according to an Atlas press release.

Haedrich has worked for Atlas for 30 years, and Graf has been with the company for 25.

Jarrett Schaffan Haedrich, currently the vice president of marketing and the great-grandson of Atlas founder Stephan J. Schaffan Sr., will move into the vacated COO position. Marketing coordinator Eric Mosher will be promoted to the vice president of marketing position.

The personnel changes will take effect Jan. 1, according to the release.

“We are very fortunate to have such qualified in-house personnel to promote to these important executive positions,” Tom Haedrich said. “Atlas and the model railroad industry will be well-served by these changes.”
