Mike Bass and Stevens International recently made Pastor Tasha Haslon’s day.

Haslon and her husband, John, run Power For Life International, a non-denominational church in Camden, N.J., that collects and distributes toys each holiday season.

This year, Power For Life will have the support of Stevens International, as well as some of its industry partners: Tamiya Inc., Round 2 Corp., Revell Inc., BMC Toys, Darice Inc., Puzzled Inc. and Bachmann. Each year Stevens International donates toys and hobby kits to a local charity.

“Pastor Haslon was very excited to hear from me,” Bass said via email, “since they had no clue how they were going to obtain what they needed for the kids this year until she received my email.”

Bass said he found out about Power For Life through a local foundation board for which he volunteers.
