HMA announces more officers

|The Hobby Manufacturers Association announced the newly elected officers for its board of directors and the Model Railroad Industry Division council.|
Mark Schwing, Don Banes and Richard Janyszek were elected to the HMA board of directors. Stacey Walthers-Naffah, Jarrette Ireland and Gale Cousins were elected to the Model Railroad Industry Division council.
Schwing, Electronic Model Systems founder and owner, will serve as the board’s president. He previously served as president of the Radio Control Hobby Trade Association. He was also the founding vice president of the HMA and helped RCHTA become the HMA’s Radio Control Industry Division. He is also the current Radio Control Industry Division council president and a member of the iHobby Expo Show Committee.
Banes, Stevens International product development manager, will serve as the board’s vice president. He previous worked as a senior buyer for a national mass transit rail company.
Janyszek, Bachmann Trains vice president of sales and marketing, will once again serve as the board’s treasurer. He also previously served as the Model Railroad Industry Division council president.
Walthers-Naffah, vice president of communications for Wm. K. Walthers Inc., was elected to her first term as Model Railroad Industry Division council president.
Ireland, manager of sales and support for SoundTraxx and Blackstone Models, was elected Model Railroad Industry Division council vice president. He also serves on the HMA Education Committee.
Cousins, Woodland Scenics director of sales and customer service, was re-elected to serve as Model Railroad Industry Division council secretary and treasurer. He also serves on the HMA iHobby Expo Show Committee.
