Pre-Size Model Specialties announced May 6 that it will be closing unless the company can find a buyer.

“Norman and Alyce Rockwell regret that they will have to give up the business due to health limitations,” the company said in a press release. “They are hoping someone will continue on with it. It is a great asset to the model railroad industry.”

Pre-Size Model Specialties is a manufacturer of model railroad scenery accessories specializing in tunnel portals, retaining walls, abutments, bridge piers, fields, cargo loads and culverts.

“Our products are favored by the hobbyist for the realistic appearance. … Many are used right from the package, because they already look like weathered wood, concrete or rock,” the release added.

The company currently has more than 100 items in production in Z through G scales.
