Mayfair Games’ popular Catan board game series served as inspiration when high fashion joined the gaming world on the runway Nov. 14 at the Chicago Toy & Game Fair.
Designer Miriam Cecilia Carlson created two designs using the themes and resources of Catan for playCHIC, the first-ever gaming fashion show. The event was part of the Toy & Game Fair’s 10th anniversary celebration.
The playCHIC event brought in fashion talent and star models for the fashion show, and Mayfair President Larry Roznai even made an appearance on the runway.
Mayfair also had a booth during the Toy & Game Fair Nov. 17–18 in the exhibit hall.
