Walthers to sponsor Choo Choo Bob Show
September 28, 2012
Wm. K. Walthers Inc. announced its sponsorship of the Choo Choo Bob Show, a children’s television show that teaches kids and their families about trains. Walthers also announced it will exclusively distribute Choo Choo Bob products.
"This sponsorship offers an exciting opportunity for Walthers and for model trains to become top of mind for today’s kids and families," said Stacey Walthers Naffah, Walthers’ vice president of marketing and communications, in a Sept. 28 release. "It’s fun and educational. Bob Medcraft and the Choo Choo Bob Show crew have found a fantastic formula for feeding the excitement of kids already crazy about trains and offering a new, high-quality entertainment option for families in general."
The Choo Choo Bob Show is filmed and produced in Minneapolis and currently airs on television stations throughout the state of Minnesota.
With the sponsorship support of Walthers, Choo Choo Bob was slated to appear for the first time at Trainfest, Nov. 10–11 at the Wisconsin Expo Center at State Fair Park in Milwaukee. Choo Choo Bob and the Holy Smokestacks Revue band and cast were scheduled to perform music, host story times and be available for meet and greets throughout Trainfest.
