Walthers' Broadway Limited on display at Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania
January 30, 2012
|Wm. K. Walthers Inc. announced that its HO-scale Broadway Limited passenger train will be operating at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in Strasburg, Pa.|
Based on Broadway equipment in service from 1953-68, the train includes nine all-new cars, many of which were also used on other Pennsylvania Rail Road streamliners. The 15-car Broadway will be running on two different layouts at the museum — “Pennsylvania Railroad Middle Division” in the main lobby and “Pennsylvania Landscapes” in the Stuart Junction interactive education center.
The Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania houses a collection of more than 100 historic locomotives and railroad cars, a vast library and archive, a working restoration shop, and an interactive education center.
