Model railroad manufacturer Intermountain Railway Co. is now the exclusive North American distributor for Z-scale products from Japanese manufacturer Rokuhan.

Rokuhan has developed a line of Z-scale track, much of which will be available in May. More products will be available in the fall. The distribution announcement dovetails with Intermountain’s entry into the Z-scale rolling stock market in recent months.

Rokuhan’s track system includes curves, straights and turnouts with an integral ballast profile, all NMRA compatible. The straight tracks have a pop-off section allowing them to be connected to the transformer by wire. There is also a transformer that can be battery or plug-in powered.
