Spektrum AR6250 receivers recalled

Horizon Hobby has recalled the Spektrum AR6250 receiver.

On Tuesday, Horizon Hobby issued a voluntary recall of Spektrum AR6250 receivers designed for use with carbon fiber model gliders. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada report, the receiver can lose contact with the transmitter while within normal range, which poses a risk of crashes and possible injury.

Horizon estimates that nearly 3,500 AR6250 receivers were sold into the U.S. market, and 150 were bought in Canada. No incidents of injury have been reported. For more information or if you own a receiver affected by the recall, call Horizon Hobby at 877-504-0233.
