Content marketing is an easy — and increasingly essential — way to get your name out to current and potential customers

Nike brand managers can “just do it” through fresh ads featuring everyone from Spike Lee to Bruce Lee and online extras starring pro skateboarders, soccer players and NFL all-pros. K-Swiss can garner millions of views on YouTube with a commercial featuring a fictional sitcom character as its foul-mouthed CEO.

But does every business really have a story to tell through blogs, YouTube videos, Twitter feeds, podcasts and Facebook fan pages? Marketers and advertising experts say the answer is yes, whether the business is an international powerhouse or a locally owned hobby shop.
