R/C racetrack owners tell why few hobby stores have tracks, and why dealers may want to think twice before installing their own

Hobby stores across the country sell radio control cars and trucks without offering a place to race. At first blush, it may not make sense. After all, a hobby store wouldn’t sell a model locomotive without also selling the track on which the customer will run it.
