Battery-powered, radio-controlled trains aren’t new, but at least two companies are pushing the idea into the smaller scales

Dirty track, track with gaps or track with other conductivity issues is always a problem for model railroaders. The process of wiring a layout also stops people from building one.

What if your customers could put their locomotive on any track, without hooking up any wires, and have it run perfectly because it doesn’t have to pick up electricity from the rails?
