For decades, scale model railroaders enviously watched their toy-train brethren run multiple trains at the same time on the same track, blow whistles and even uncouple their cars. Over the last couple of decades though, thanks to the development of digital command control--DCC as it's commonly known--more and more 2-rail tycoons are able to do the things the 3-rail guys do, and then some.
