As a hobby dealer, you watch the trends in all product segments you sell. Sometimes plastic models are hot. Sometimes it’s radio control. Certain times of the year it might be model railroading.

While segments follow seasonal or annual patterns, there are some products you can count on to turn year-round. Paint and glue are two of them.

It’s difficult for anyone to say you can sell more of these products to improve your bottom line. Their sales, for the most part, are dependent on what else you’re selling in your store.
