The Rocky Mountain Hobby-Expo is a new hobby industry consumer/trade show scheduled for the end of October which will fill the void created by the demise of iHobby.

The mission of the Rocky Mountain Hobby-Expo is twofold. First, to promote and educate the public about family oriented hobbies throughout the Rocky Mountain Region and beyond by providing information and inspiration to new and existing hobbyists; and second, to provide a cost-effective medium for hobby manufacturers to reach retailers and consumers via a single coordinated event.

The show will kick off as a consumer event on October 28th and 29th, 2017 at the Denver Mart- a 120,000 sq ft convention facility in Denver, Colorado. The 2017 event will feature an extensive array of hands-on demos and workshops for new and experienced hobbyists as well as a mega-marketplace of vendors, anchored by our Consumer Segment Partners, to get products into hobbyist’s hands on the show floor.

See the 2017 information and registration package.

The 2018 event, to be held October 25th through the 28th, will add two days of trade activity to the consumer show. The trade days will break with tradition in that Thursday will be an activity day for retailers featuring off-site demos, including flying and boating, and educational workshops. Friday will be a trade floor day with no retailer activities to conflict with time on the floor with the manufacturers.

The trade event will include free registration for retailers to encourage their attendance.

The 2018 show will be sponsored by the HMA with members receiving a 10 percent registration discount. The Denver Mart is a non-union facility that delivers excellent service on a very cost effective basis. Booth prices include pipe and drape, electricity, signage, tables and chairs with no drayage or setup fees- A pipe and drape show for a tabletop price.
