Trainfest announced it will host its sixth annual Friday Product Showcase this year.

The Milwaukee-based show, America’s largest operating model railroad show, announced June 6 that it will continue its popular Friday Product Showcase, which will take place from 4–8 p.m. Nov. 8 at the Wisconsin Exposition Center at State Fair Park, according to a press release.

The event is designed for avid model railroad hobbyists ages 18 and older who want exclusive, one-on-one time with manufacturers. Participants get a preview of retailer offerings and enjoy a catered dinner. This opportunity provides hobbyists with a setting in which they can discuss new product releases, share product wish lists and compare products across manufacturers.

“Friday Product Showcase has become an important part of the annual pilgrimage for serious modelers from around the country who make the trip to Trainfest,” Trainfest Executive Director John H. Tews said in the press release. “Friday Product Showcase is a unique opportunity for modelers — it’s a casual setting where really great conversations about model railroading take place.”

Friday Product Showcase tickets costs $45 and include a single admission ticket to Trainfest for Saturday and Sunday, a catered dinner and a gift bag sponsored by several manufacturers. Tickets are available at
