InterMountain announces management changes

Model railroad manufacturer InterMountain Railway Company has named a new president and CEO, a new senior vice president and three new vice presidents, effective Nov. 1.

Ron Angstead has been named president and CEO, Doug Dolloff has been named senior vice president, and Larry Leicht, Bill McClung and Richard Frazier have been named vice presidents.

Angstead previously served with the company from 1990 through 2001. His father, Frank Angstead, has been with the company continuously since early in 1990, serving as president and CEO since 1997. Frank will continue as executive vice president and CFO, concentrating on the company’s financial matters as well as assisting in the area of sales and marketing.

Dolloff, who has also been with the InterMountain since 1990, has been serving as the company’s vice president. As senior vice president, he will continue to focus his efforts on production.

Leicht has been named vice president in charge of product development. McClung has been named vice president of sales. And Frazier has been named vice president of marketing and customer service.

InterMountain, based in Longmont, Colo., produces high-end model railroad products in HO, N and Z scales, including locomotives and rolling stock dating back to the early 20th century.

InterMountain distributes its own product line to a system of over 600 hobby dealers worldwide. The company also distributes the products of several other model railroad manufacturers.
