Exhibitors up, dealers steady at NRHSA show The 2010 National Retail Hobby Stores Association’s annual Table Top Expo at the Las Vegas Hilton was its usual high-RC flying, boating and road-racing self, with more dealers than in 2009 and about the same number of dealers in attendance.

Outgoing association chairman Charlie Hirschberg of Nassau Hobby Center, Freeport, N.Y., said the number manufacturers and distributors were up at the May 3-5 show about 20%. Prior to the show starting, he was concerned about the dealer pre-registration numbers, which were lower than last year. However, dealers came the day of the show, and traffic was steady.

Show product highlights included a demonstration of Traxxas’ new Velineon-powered brushless boat and Horizon unveling a new entry-level line of suface vehicles under the ElectrixRC brand.
