What started with a small bank loan and a family investment 22 years ago is today the Credit Valley Railway Company, a full-service hobby shop in the Toronto suburb of Mississauga, relied on by model train and rail enthusiasts throughout Ontario and beyond.

"We opend in September 1993 at just over 800 square feet. In 1997, we expanded next door, doubling our size. In 2010, we moved to a larger, open-concept 6,000-square-foot warehouse and store," says owner Bob Scott.

His current warehouse-style building offers room for everything: plenty of space to keep more than 25,000 items in stock, room for spacious store layouts and displays—even an on-site, hands-on clinic room.
